San Pablo City Coconut Festival 2006

Ilyn and I went out tonight to check out the festivities at the town plaza. Festivities has been going on since January 9, and will last until the town fiesta on January 15. For one whole week, the main road is closed to traffic each night for music, entertainment, food, drink, fireworks, and all around good time. There's nothing like it in San Pablo all year.

Wow. Parang gaya ng fiesta ng Angono, Rizal. They close the main road too for fun activities. :D

But where are the coconuts?
komikero: 01/12/2006 5:12 PM
They'll be making a grand entrance today! :) Today they're doing a longest BUKO PIE thing (Cocount pie), and I don't know when that will be, but there's going to be a parade of things made only of cocount. And tomorrow, there's going to be a dance competition between schools that will use costumed made only of coconuts.
